Trevor Fiore’s Jaguar, Austin-Healey, Lancia, etc concept sketches to be auctioned

H&H is auctioning thirty-four original watercolour/ink concept drawings of British designer, Trevor Fiore on June 19. Fiore, who’s true name was Trevor Frost before he changed it something with an Italian ring to it, is mostly known for his work in the 60’s & 70’s where he worked amongst others at Carrozzeria Fissore in Turin while in the 80’s he headed the design department of the French car maker before dropping to anonymity. -Continued: Click “Read More…” below

The drawings include design sketches for Jaguar, Alvis, Lancia, Austin-Healey, Elva and Trident cars that never passed into production. H&H’s expert Matthew Kershaw noted, "These wonderful drawings are a unique snapshot of what could have been. There are striking sports coupes for a whole range of marques, plus convertibles and four-door saloons. The latter include one entitled Jaguar ‘S-Type’ but, rather than resembling the manufactured model of that name, it has distinct shades of the Jaguar E-Type and even the sleek NSU RO80 of that period."
