Gas Powered AC Schnitzer BMW V10 3er Coupe Breaks Speed Record With 318 km/h
AC Schnitzer’s LPG powered 3-Series Coupe has set a new speed record for liquid gas fuelled vehicles by achieving a top speed of 318 km/h or 198 mph at the Nardo high-speed track in Southern Italy. The gas powered GP3.10 is based on the current BMW 3-series Coupe with a modified M5 V10 engine delivering 552 HP/406 kW. The German tuner had made the public debut of the gas-powered bimmer at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. According to ACS, the GP3.10 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.5 sec and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 13.9 sec (details and pics here). -More images after the jump
