Time’s up for the Mazda RX-8 to receive its first update since its launch in 2003. According to the Japanese carmaker’s own words, the 2009 RX-8 will be heavily revised sporting a freshened design, improved handing, acceleration, quality and features. The new RX-8 sports car will make its world premiere at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), to be held in Detroit from Sunday, January 13 through Sunday, January 27.
