Video: Grant’s World Record Tightest J-Turn

Thanks to an anonymous tipster who left us a comment on our post concerning Terry Grant’s Guinness World Record beating “J-Turn”, we now get the chance to see in film how the renowned stunt driver actually do it. Grant managed to squeeze pass a set of tightly fitted barriers while performing a J-Turn (turning a car through 180 degrees from reversing in a straight line to driving forwards in a straight line). The key measurement in this stunt was the diagonal size of the Renault Twingo GT; at 370 cm, the gap between the barriers and the car was just 4 cm or 1.6-inches.
