January will be a month to forget for General Motors as the American automaker delivered a mere 129,227 vehicles in the States, down a whopping 49 percent compared with a year ago. GM's inventories dropped to 801,000 vehicles in January, down about 103,000 vehicles (or 11 percent) compared with last year. The company also reported that its fleet sales of just over 13,000 vehicles in January were at their lowest levels since 1975.
