Hyundai Unveils Genesis Emblem And Details On Engine Units

The bad news is that Hyundai unveiled this Genesis emblem consisting of the Genesis logotype set in a black hexagonal shield framed by a pair of wings. The good news is that the pictured emblem will only be applied to the Korean and Chinese markets… According to the Korean carmaker, the wings, executed in hyper-metallic silver, “symbolize the spirit of flight and soaring above it all”. -Continued after the jump

Along with the revelation of the emblem, Hyundai also gave out some details on the Genesis’ engine line-up. The top-of-the-range Genesis will be equipped with the all-new Tau V8 engine which will produce 375 HP while the base models of the luxury sedan will be powered by the Korean carmaker’s V6 Lambda engines offered in 3.3- and 3.8-liter editions. The RWD Genesis will make its world premiere at the upcoming Detroit show in January, but until then, click here and here to see our image galleries.
