GM has released the first official video of its new BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLK rival, the 2010 Cadillac SRX. The compact crossover-SUV-CUV-we don't know the difference any more, will be unveiled at the Detroit motor show in January with sales scheduled to start during the second quarter of 2009. Cadillac has not announced any details on the powertrain options -or at least not officially- but expect to see the SRX being offered in most markets with the CTS' duo of 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engines. Hit the 'Read More' button below to watch the SRX pointlessly fooling around in the snow.

As the 2009 CTS-V heads into production, Cadillac is stepping up its efforts to create a buzz around its new BMW M5 rival. This video that was created by the folks over at Cadillac's official blog showcases the 556HP strong CTS-V at the Monticello Raceway in New York and at the Nurburgring track, where John Heinricy completed a full lap of the Nordschleife in 7:59.32 which is the fastest recorded time for a production saloon. Video: 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon
While we’d like to see Cadillac’s new CTS Sport Wagon (see photos and details here) up close for our final verdict, we must say that the company’s global design director Clay Dean and his team seem to have done a nice job of turning the CTS sedan into a good-looking estate that manages to keep a fine balance between American drama and European style. In these first videos of the CTS Sport Wagon, Cadillac’s Global Products Director John Howell and Global Design Director Clay Dean take a walk around the new estate discussing the car’s exterior design and utility. -Videos after the jump Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Video 1

Video: Cadillac CTS-V’s Record Breaking 7:59.32 Nurburgring Lap
As we were promised last week when it was officially announced that the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V lapped the Nurburgring race track in 7:59.32 which could possibly be the fastest recorded time for a production sedan on factory-spec street tires, GM released the video featuring driver John Heinricy behind the wheel of the CTS-V as he completed the allegedly record lap of the legendary Nordschleife. Check out the video right after the jump. -Continued

Video: Cadillac’s Design Chief Takes Us Around the 2009 CTS-V
If there’s one thing we admire about car designers is the way they talk and Cadillac’s design director, Clay Dean, is no exception. You may or may not fancy the all-new CTS-V’s (details and pics here) appearance –we’re leaning towards the not liking, but its interesting to hear what Dean has to say about the sports-sedan. -Follow the jump for the video

Video: Cadillac CT Coupe Concept
Cadillac’s Detroit Show shocker is something more than a concept as it will form the base for a production version which, according to our information, will be launched into the market in late 2009 or early 2010. Despite being based on the new CTS, the CT Coupe Concept actually shares very few body parts with its sedan counterpart. Power will most probably come from the same V6 and V8 engine units as the CTS, including a top-notch CT-V variant equipped with GM’s new 6.2-liter supercharged V8 unit that pumps out 550 HP. Click here for images and details on the CT Coupe. -Follow the jump for the video
